Currently
subject to availability and travel costs by Trainer (based in Perth, Western
Australia).
1 week fulltime, then
1 month part-time and 6 months mentoring support.
Provided
for Group:
Qualified Trainer (1 week fulltime in person, 1 day per week for a month
in person, then 6 months support online)
Provided
for each Participant:
Hard-copy of current version of manual "Fine Webcraft for Communities"
- how to design, build and promote a community-based website.
Access to online updates of the manual for 12 months.
"Visual Quickstart Guide to Dreamweaver" manual - current version
"Visual Quickstart Guide to PaintShop Pro" manual - current

"Designing Web Usability - the Practice of Simplicity" manual
by Jakob Nielsen
Access to academic or trial versions of "Dreamweaver" and "PaintShop
Pro" for one month.
Cost of
"Fine Webcraft for Communities" workshop, materials and support
as above is $1200 per participant (min 10, max 15) plus GST. Any
additional consultancy required outside the provisions included above
will be charged at $45/hr plus GST.
Also
required for Group:
Advocate to organise the process of establishing the Guild - will reasonably
require at least 20hrs/wk for three months, then 10hrs/wk for another
three months until Guild's skill level is sufficient to be self-sustaining.
To work on a Telework basis (eg, from home).
Public meeting venue for community consultation - approximately three
or four public meetings.
Training venue with sufficient resources for all participants (1 week
fulltime, 1 day/week for 6 months)
A PC with sufficient capability to run software and storage/backup capacity
for sites (incl CD Writer).

At least one full commerical copy of the authoring software "Dreamweaver"

At least one full commerical copy of the graphics software "PaintShop

Basic off-the-shelf e-commerce package.
Domain registration and webspace, eg through hostingshop.com.au 100meg/$100pa
including international domain - this would include sufficient space for
a quite a number of sites - including at least one per participant, as
well as an overall portal site (eg a Virtual Village with links to all
of the town's sites).
Unlimited internet access for development period (6 months)
